In the municipality of Los Barrios is the Monte de la Torre estate, which has a colonial style house known as Casa Grande. The main house is of Edwardian colonial architecture, which is elegant and spacious as usual. The Larios family resided in Monte de la Torre. Ernesto Larios built it in the 1900s. The sixth generation of the Agnew-Larios family continues to own and manage the house and farm. Located in the Natural Park of Los Alcornocales, the property offers a view of the Bay of Algeciras, situated between the golf courses of Sotogrande and the beaches of Tarifa.
The impressive mahogany staircase that rises from the cozy living room and the refined dining room stands out. The rooms have high ceilings and antique bathrooms.
There are three terraces in the house; two of them are at the front and are ideal for sunbathing in the evening; and the third terrace is larger and overlooks large gardens with lawns and mature trees.
The house has an exclusive tennis court and swimming pool.
We had the honor of performing the wedding ceremony in Spanish and English, in the gardens in front of the house.
